Intergenerational Interludes

Join DISCOVERY Children's Museum and a certified music therapist for our Intergenerational Interludes music program. Participants ages birth through five and their caretakers will enjoy music, dance, movement and play during this interactive six-week session.

The music therapist will facilitate a "music and movement" experience and engage participants in dance and play in DISCOVERY Hall. They will be joined by memory loss patients in person.

Registration is free and limited to 25 children. Registered participants are asked to attend all six sessions.

The program will consist of 6 sessions over 6 weeks on the Wednesday of each week from 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM. The first session will be on Wednesday, May 31 and the final session will conclude on Wednesday, July 5. Registrants (2 kids + 2 adults max) may stay and play at the Museum for free following each weekly session.

Support has been provided by the PNC Foundation, through PNC Grow Up Great®, its signature cause focused on early childhood education. PNC Grow Up Great, which began in 2004, is a bilingual $500 million initiative to help prepare children from birth to age 5 for success in school and life.
