Health Sciences for Homeschoolers
We're rolling into 2022 with an amazing offer! Thanks to a generous American Rescue Plan grant through the Institute of Museum and Library Services, homeschoolers are eligible to receive free health sciences programming at DISCOVERY through February 2022!
Enjoy high quality science programs alongside your homeschooler in a safe and engaging environment. Our content is aligned with Nevada State Standards and 21st Century Learning Skills, and our lessons are designed for students engaged in preschool – grade five curriculum.
Health Sciences for Homeschoolers programming is included in the cost of admission, and it is free to Museum members. Non-Member adults accompanying registered child(ren) must pay for their admission separately upon entry.

Fourth Grade: Circulatory & Respiratory Systems (Recommended for ages 9 - 10)
Through the use of anatomical models, learn how the circulatory and respiratory systems function. Examine the heart, blood vessels and lungs, and learn about the different components of blood.
